Now that;s playing!..u can have 4 5 congas..but try this on one...I challenge all my pupils to do this as at certain stage of their learning process.... Mongo is the MAN!...

I have one conga, and that is enough for what i would actually use with present time permitting. One conga, traditional style.

I agree, get a portable conga for the road. Only look for additional drums after you have become good with all the rhythms available for the drums you already have. If leaning towards one of the two big companies, check out Giovanni series or Woodcraft series. If your budget was bigger, go for Moperc, MattSmith, Spirit in the Wood, ManitoPercussion.
