How To Make Congas from a 200 year old log in Belize

Here is a video of master musical instrument maker Conrad Kubiak's journey to Belize where he went down the river and got a 200 year old log, brought it back to the USA and made solid shell conga drums out of it. Pretty amazing. Conrad is the owner of Spirit In The Wood Congas.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_xPXdjP-1U

Awesome!!

I'm guessing those drums would be keepers. It would be hard to put a value on something like that.

Absolutely amazing! On one side there is a lot of waste but what a set of spirit drums. The lathe is also amazing!
