There are some kids (11-14), who really want me to teach them congas. What book should I teach from or what approach should I take? This is a first for me. Thanks congeros!

First I'm not a teacher ... but in some of the places where I lived I'm as close as it gets so I've given in a couple times. I don't take money [I will take beer & wine donations:) ] anyhow all those cavets aside
