Hello guys, I think it's not ASBA, not the same shape and hardware. And ASBA put a metal rim on the back of the drum (we can see it on your phot JC).
To my mind, the shape looks like TOCA, but I don't recognize the hardware.
GL.

If it's TOCA, pretty shure it's "siam oak" not oak at all indeed but Hevea Braziliensis.
Just the color is different.

My first congas resemble these. They ar SP "Space Percussion", I do not know much about this company. I acquired this set back in the early 90's as a trade of congas for a Fender Stratocaster with a conguero in my Afro-Cuban group "The Primal Connection". I thought SP was an offshoot of CP in the 80's but I cannot find any information about these anywhere now. The set is Oak with painted on faux Bi-colored staves. It looks cheezy but they sound great! I still have this set and it is dear to me regarding my Rumba heritage. (I am a British/Irish Suburban American who learned on this set.) I have lent this set to congueros in my group who lacked instruments but were rich in talent. I have seen amazing homeless congueros who were smokin' players but were down on their luck.
Remember it is the musician who makes the real music and not the instrument making the musician. Some of the greatest players have the most humble surroundings and or resources. Because of this experience, I have collected musical junk over the years for a found object rack. (Like the old Fat Albert Band

) We in the western world are spoiled and loose sight of our brothers in 3rd world countries that can often out play us with these humble instruments.
(enough soap box...yeah right

)
Keep it fun,
Jerry
