Hello!
I've just wondering about LP fiberglass congas and I noticed that
Galaxy Fiberglass
Patato
Armando Perraza
have the same shell (?)
So what's the difference between them? Color? Signature and that's all?
In price diference is noticable so what I pay for? Which one is the best? Patato (lowest price)?

They have different shapes and/or construction.

Patato's are the only ones I have played on that list in fiberglass
They have a narrower bottom, definitely different shell shape.
Sound pretty good in my opinion, only played them outdoors though.

I think the Peraza's only come in that funky color scheme of his?

different shape?

Lp says:
"Shaped identical to the Galaxy Fiberglass Congas, these drums are perfect for any style of music and are great for live playing "

??

They are shaped the same. The Galaxy congas have heavy duty hardware and they are heavy. They sound the same to me.

Yeah actually I think you guys are right, I was probably confusing
the Galaxies with Classics for some reason.

I've played the Giovanni ones in wood, just yesterday.

Isn't there an older model Galaxy with a more Classic style shape?
