Guys,

I'm considering buying a stand that fits up to 4 congas for standing playing. I like the sound boost I get from playing the congas above the ground and I get more mobility standing up.

I usually play 3, but I'm dabbing in 4 and I'm liking the increased sound palette that gives. So, since I'm making an investment...I figure I should go with equipment that will service what I may eventually gig with (4).

I've seen the LP Triple Conga stand (and I know they have an extra attachment to make it a 4-stand).

Any other alternatives or better quality / better price stands out on the market that will fit LP Patato Fiberglass and LP Classic congas (my sets are those)?

Thanks guys!

The latest MEINL Steely II stands are very good, they are both sturdy (L-shaped feet with a thorn that bites into carpet if you wish) and not to pricey. Plus they can be mounted and de-mounted very quickly.
They fit all conga sizes. With a little bit of adjustion this would do nicely.

For the bigger buck, you can get the MEINL TMC Conga Stand, also a single stand but very VERY sturdy and also highly adjustable. They are especially good for very heavy congas.

But the Steely II is a reasonable choice. I´ve got two of them and I´m happy with them.

Good luck with your choice!
