I have a gon bops 9 1/2" quinto and 10 1/2" conga.
The quinto is a mahoganoy drum with 3 of the original bands, it is missing the bottom one. Traditional rim and hardware look nice and shiny, no rust and very little if any pitting of the chrome. Good skin with tons of life, the guy I got it from said mule, but not 100% sure. One of the seems split and was repaired and sealed, it is quite visable, but solid as a rock.
The conga is an oak drum with a tear drop rim. There is some pitting on the hardware. The cowhide head is thick and sounds awsome, but as you can see from the pics it is about time to change it, hence the washers on the lugs. Solid as a rock and perfectly round. Has a natural finish with a gel coat, the gel coat looks pretty crappy and would probably want to sand it off, I just never got around to it.
As much as I love them, they have to go to cover some medical bills from a recent knee surgery
Will sell as a set or seperate, make me an offer.
