whats up y'all

happy new year to everyone, ok the problem i have is my local drum shop doesnt have much in the way of replacement skins. all they have is standard skins from the manufacturer or calf hide?? has anyone used this skin and if so what do they think? i had a bit of trouble bringing a conga into oz with customs so i figured i would have trouble with importing skins (foot in mouth disease) or something..

so if anyone has any suggestions please feel free to throw them south....

peace out :D

When importing conga skins into Australia,
have the packing slip avoid using the words
cow, or skins.. It's best to describe them
simply as drum heads. The govt. has regulations
due to fear of diseases. I've sent several orders
of mule skins, but only once was the package
inspected. They had to go through an irradiation
process before releasing them to the buyer.
