I'm a beginner.I have a set of LP Fuego 11" & 11.75" congas
and would like to replace the skins. I bought Remo M7-1106-N6 for the 11", but dosen't fit. The outside diameter of the 11" is 13 inches and the 11.75 is 14 inches. I need some help.

You know, if you "search" the forum for the topic "Remo heads" you might find the thread, or actually there have been a couple of them addressing this question/problem.
As for me, well I only use natural skins, it's just my preference mi pana!

Thanks Alafia. I'm from Puerto Rico,retired.New in the study of percussion(student), but an old salsero, of the "rumba callejera". I know the procedure to change the natural skin, but I only want to Know where I get the skin already prepared(ex. Remo Nuskyn)that fit my LP 11' and 11.75".

Yeah he wants a head with rim ready to install on drum, I read a lot about the remo and evans heads they are good but one thing they all lack is good identification on what fits what. I see a lot of people order an 11' head or 11-3/4 etc and it wont fit their drum because it really was designed for another style drum and rim. I think these companies need to beef up thier research work in getting more model info for us to use in ordering the proper heads.

I would be leary of ordering any head unless I read it fits my exact model, or someone posts they have my model and "X" head fits well.
