I just saw two Pearl Primero congas, they didn't look any special at all but they cost about 400$, that must be a huge overprice right? Anyone using pearl primero?

At the place you saw them, they are overpriced. They usually cost around $220 to $300. (The price you saw sound more Pearl Elite which are the professional ones).

Depending if they are they have the "pro title" on them. Be aware they are 10 and 11 congas that are beginner's sizes(they come with baskets). Check http://www.midwestpercussion.com.

oki, well these were the small sizes. didnt see any baskets tho.

The baskets are apparently included in the deal by Midwest Percussion (the site I gave you)....Have to check the Pearl site to see if the basket is something they come with...(Most companies are offering them with beginners/mid level conga sets to "sweeten" the deal)
