				thx Shor
I am not sure at all about these patterns as to the rhythms they fit with, however in my "striving for intermediate status" I see these patterns as a great exercise. First with right hand lead and then with left hand lead.

				Thanks for sharing…
I recognize the pattern notations from Michael De Miranda online.
Michael De Miranda’s videos are a great source for beginners.
However De Miranda’s videos and notes on Bomba put slaps in Bomba where they are nonexistent. There are no slaps in Sica, Cunya, Cuembe/Guembe, Belen, Balance, or Lero del Sur but either rim hits or center bass hits. Also there is only one slap in Seis Corrido on the left hand (if you’re a righty). His videos are a good start as his background and notations for the rhthyms are largely if not entirely based on Salvador Ferrera’s thesis which is also available online.
