Hey folks,
Does anyone have any idea where I might be able to purchase posters of the great congueros? I'm looking for posters from Poncho, Giovanni, Baretto, Anga, etc.. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I checked out the LP posters and thought they were a bit lame. Plus I didn't care for the product advertisements at the bottom of the posters. Let me know if you come across any other place where I might be able to find posters of congueros.

This is an interesting topic. I haven't come across any great posters of congueros. Why is that?

We all know congueros are more handsome and dynamic than other musicians

I approached Pearl with the idea in the very beginning of their Perc. Dept., and they didn't see anything to it, to do it. Also with Photo T shirts also....no go..."JC" Johnny Conga...

I called LP's Marketing department regarding poster materials, because I'd love to have a few for my room. I specifically asked for the 1997 issue of "Trust The Leader" posters...THOSE were really good posters. They're gonna get back to me.

If only it wouldn't be thought inappropriate by some people in my school to put up the Jennifer poster (hahahah)...might be a nice one to inspire some of the girls in my percussion classes (who only are exposed to men doing it all the time).

Let's keep this discussion going...I'd love to find out where I can find more posters of the greats.

Well, I received the posters from LP and they're nice. They're pretty close to those Trust the Leader ones.

Would anyone else where else I could get posters like those LP ones that showcase other Latino artists in the music business? I received about 6 or 7 from LP, but I'd love to decorate my room with more (music room).

she was sitting on 3 white congas
i think that would be nice to put as a poster
