I have a Gajate bracket for foot-cowbell. I previously used
and old drum stick and glued it on to a rod for the beater.
Well it fell /broke, so I replaced it with a wood type bass drum beater. Its fine, except it sound terrrible-too metallic?
Anyone heard of Slug they look plastic, and it turns 360degrees.
Also Wafredo Reyes "model" has a stick/type beater. I think Vater or someother mfg makes the same style.
Does anyone have a opinion on what type of beater is good
for this application-Salsa, Traditional?
